Materials Analysis Laboratory

AAE's materials analysis laboratory is equipped with advanced tools and technologies to produce and analyze high-quality metallurgical samples. The laboratory includes light microscopes and a desktop Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for detailed examination of material structures. The workflow involves sectioning, mounting, grinding, polishing, etching, and microscopy to evaluate a material's microstructure. The laboratory has been setup as a collaborative effort involving multiple teams, ensuring that R&D and AAE’s Key Technologies machining department can conduct analyses safely, faster, and more efficiently without relying on external labs.

Refractory Metals

We specialize in machining refractory metals, like Molybdian and Tungsten, which are essential for high-temperature applications in industries like semiconductor and life science.
