Project Approach

At AAE Automation, your project is in safe hands. While we have the capacity and capability to build multiple machines simultaneously, we take a project driven approach, ensuring you a dedicated customer team for account management, system engineering and project management.

Sample Printing

Printing Automation projects often start with determining the best printing technology for your product. We offer sample printing service in our laboratory, where a variety of printing technologies are at your disposal. By optimizing printing parameters, like speed, types of pre- and post-treatment, inks, pressure, adhesion, etc. we can simulate your final printing process and determine the optimal parameter setting for you.

Process Development

When introducing a new product into the market the need for process development is key. In these cases, we always support your project by simulating the process in near-live conditions. By building and testing a Proof of Principle (PoP) in our laboratory first, risks are mitigated and a steady project flow can be guaranteed.

Typical PoP technologies are Leakage testing, Ultra Sonic Welding, Force Measurement, Laser Welding and Camera Inspection.

Project Management

AAE project management leads the way to success. We keep track of all project deliverables including design reviews and FMEA’s in an integrated system which empowers us to track, trace and predict design- and manufacturing statuses, costs, progress, potential risks and expected outcomes.

V-Model & Communication Triangle

At AAE, we work according to the V-Model, a structured and proven approach that seamlessly connects requirements management, design and assurance throughout the entire development lifecycle. At its core, the V-Model distinguishes between Verification, building the product correctly in line with design specifications, and Validation, building the right product that truly meets user and application requirements. Testing plays an important role within this framework, but is only one part of a broader, integrated way of working that drives verification and validation, consistent quality and effective risk mitigation for every engineered solution we deliver.

GAMP Validation

When it comes to ensuring the success of your assembly automation project, understanding and implementing GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) validation is crucial.

GAMP validation is a comprehensive process that ensures automated systems comply with regulatory requirements and operate reliably. This involves creating a detailed validation plan, including a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), Compliance Matrix, Functional Design Specification (FDS), Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operations Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ).

These documents outline the deliverables, key resources, and responsibilities, ensuring that the automated system meets all user requirements and regulatory standards.

I started at AAE as a mechanic, and I grew into engineering. That journey shapes how I work today: practical thinking first, and designs that make sense on the build floor, not just on a screen.
